The Tafadis sugar refinery, part of Madar Holding, received a high-level Belgian delegation 🇧🇪 shortly after its official inauguration by the Algerian Minister of Industry.
The project was executed by De Smet Engineers and Contractors, responsible for the plant’s design, equipment supply, and implementation supervision, showcasing modern industrial expertise in Algeria.
The delegation included Ms. Theodora Gintzis, Chair of the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Management Committee, and H.E. Ambassador Jean-Jacques Quiriau, who reviewed DSEC’s experience in this strategic project.
The visit featured constructive discussions on Algeria’s business climate and ways to enhance Algerian-Belgian cooperation in investment, trade, and industrial know-how transfer.
