Mr. Ali Aoun, Minister of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production, inaugurated on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, in Algiers, the SPA-SINAA-TEC production plant, a subsidiary of Madar Holding, specialized in the production of polypropylene non-woven fabrics.

The minister was accompanied by Mr. Amara Charaf-Eddine, CEO of Madar Group, during the official inauguration ceremony.

During the visit, the minister received detailed explanations of the production process, including the quality control laboratory to ensure compliance with current standards. This initiative aims to meet the growing demand in the non-woven fabrics market and reduce reliance on imports.

The modern factory, located in the Gué de Constantine municipality in the eastern suburb of the capital, was established in 2019. It includes two production lines manufacturing specialized materials such as MELTBLOWN, SPUNBOND, and COMPOSITE SPUNLAID, mainly intended for healthcare and medical use.

The SPA-SINAA-TEC production will help satisfy strong national demand, reducing the need for regular imports. The inauguration concluded with the signing of commercial contracts to market the factory’s products, representing a major step in the subsidiary’s development.
