As part of overseeing strategic industrial projects, the Minister of Industry and Pharmaceutical Production, Seffi Ghrib, visited Jijel on Thursday, May 22, 2025, accompanied by the governor of the wilaya, Mr. Ahmed Mgelati.
During the visit, the delegation inspected the Kotama Agri Food factory, part of Madar Holding, specialized in extracting vegetable oils from oilseeds, with the CEO, Charaf Eddine Amara, in attendance.
The complex consists of three integrated units:
🔹 Unit 14: Raw material storage
🔹 Unit 15: Oil crushing and extraction
🔹 Unit 16: Finished product storage
The minister oversaw the launch of technical trials for the soybean processing line and the BC15 overhead conveyor, a pivotal stage prior to the official start of production.
This project reflects Madar Holding’s commitment to supporting state efforts in establishing strategic industrial units and strengthening economic sovereignty through investment in value-added processing industries for national and international markets.
