It is clear that the current results of Chabab Belouizdad do not meet our expectations, as agreed by the club’s management, technical staff, and Madar Holding Group, which supports the club. These results have demoralized some of our loyal fans, who, like us, expected the team to achieve the hopes placed on it and to be at the level of expectations given the significant sacrifices made to restore its glory.
However, football is not an exact science. Around the world, even top clubs, considered title-winning machines, go through difficult periods of failure and doubt. The Algerian league champion, Chabab Belouizdad, continues to compete on three fronts: the professional league, the league cup, and the CAF Champions League.
Despite recent setbacks, no one can claim that we have lost our ambitions, as they remain alive. Some choose ingratitude as their motto, which is illogical. Football is just a game, and many great teams have been defeated by smaller, luckier clubs. Defeat is not the end of the world; great victories await in the future, and this is the rule of football.
It is unacceptable to see some “reckless” individuals, whom we do not want as supporters, resort to assaults on players and administrative staff, as happened yesterday at Algiers airport. Such behavior is unacceptable and unforgivable.
We have provided all resources to Chabab Belouizdad. Those who attacked our players and staff are not part of our big family. True supporters remain united and back their team every season, whatever the risks and obstacles.
